First Aid Training

Outside Edge is a registered Medic First aid training centre. We provide high quality HSE approved First Aid Training and CPR courses.

Though based in the South West, we provide a broad range of Medic First Aid programmes throughout the UK, each with its own unique emphasis, for companies, FE colleges, the care profession, outdoor specialists and many others.

By combining great teaching methods, highly trained instructors and a unique training programme we are experts at developing your First Aid skills.

It has always been a criticism of First Aid courses that no sooner has the course ended, you forget what you have learnt.

Not any more. Our programmes are designed specifically with this in mind; giving you the knowledge you need to deal with incidents in a competent and confident way, well into the future .

What you can expect

• Video Segments to convey essential information.
• Hands-on practice in groups of three, acting as rescuer, patient and coach, using our visual workbook.
• Positive, relaxed and enjoyable coaching in a low stress environment.
• Maximum of 12 students per instructor.

Endorsements

Emergency Medical Planning (EMP) has been in operation for 20 years and is approved by the Health and Safety executive (1397/94)
Practically all of our First Aid programmes meet the HSE recommendations for the 'Appointed person in the workplace
