Yacht Training and Development
Yachting is one of the best activities for testing, strengthening
and training your staff teams. At Outside Edge we have considerable
experience in training and development and firmly believe that yachting
particularly, delivers real results. Knowing how best a yacht and
crew can do this is our speciality.
In the planning and execution of your event you can expect the

assessment and review
- Performance indicators, based around boat tasks and roles designed
to highlight key areas
Skippers
Fully qualified R.Y.A. Yacht masters with commercial endorsements,
our skippers will be well briefed on the aims of your programme.
At all times responsible for and in command of the yacht, they will
be happy to have as much or as little involvement as you require,
adopting a variety of exercises to ensure your staff and yourselves
get the most out of the experience.
In addition, if your company requires more, we have close links
with our own management training consultant with many years experience
in this field. For programmes requiring expertise of this nature,

Programme
In the course of one day, your staff will be faced with anything
from learning a few basic knots through to the use of sophisticated
navigational equipment. Our well designed programme will bring out
an opportunity to witness the changing dynamic of your team as circumstances

Accommodation
If your programme runs over more than one day, or you wish to come
down the night before to make an early start, we can recommend hotels
and guesthouses in the area. Alternatively, should you require a
more 'authentic' experience, in many cases the boats are available,
or can be made available to you to at night.
Boats
We have a range of boats of varying designs and sizes to suit your
individual needs. Multi-boat programmes are not uncommon, indeed
are often a popular way to experiment with different personality
combinations, as well as introducing a competition element if required.
