Corporate Events
Corporate hospitality days are a great way to reward your staff
or entertain clients. This is your chance to get out of the office
and experience the relaxation, fun and exhilaration that sailing
has to offer. Our clients are in no doubt about the benefits our
days can bring - closer business relationships, happier staff and
renewed energy and enthusiasm all-round.
We have a whole range of ideas to consider, designed to create
a memorable day for everyone aboard:
- Regattas
- Following a yacht race
- Coastal passages
- Sail training
Regattas
We offer corporate and private clients the opportunity to get
involved in fleet racing. We provide the crews with a fleet of matched
boats and skippers. After a race briefing on the pontoons and a
mornings training if required, we will stage an informal racing
event for you or your clients; a 'round the cans' course in the
Solent for example. Finish the day, back at the marina for the prize
giving.
Following a yacht race
The Solent is arguably the home of international yacht racing, playing
host to the famous 'Round the Island race' and the biggest sailing
event in the world, Cowes week. Watch the action as from the comfort
of your own boat as some of the world's fastest yachts and famous
skippers battle it out. We will ensure you enjoy some delicious
food and drink aboard, as the action unfolds in front of your eyes.
Coastal passages
This is what sailing is all about. Enjoy a day trip to the Helford
River, Cornwall for example, and enjoy a delicious lunch at the
Ferryboat Inn; or sail to the Needles and back, anchoring for lunch
aboard, at the base of Alum bay's famous coloured cliffs. Alternatively,
for those looking for more adventure, experience life aboard as
you accompany us on a coastal passage or cross-channel trip.
Sail training
We offer instruction and training for yacht crews at all levels.
Are you involved in an industry sailing event or does your company
yacht require trained crew? We will take you through every aspect
of yacht sailing and racing, from ropework to the use of navigational
aids and from basic sailing theory to racing. We are experts in
coaching and instruction and will convey theory and seemingly complex
tasks in a friendly, simple and relaxed way.
Our Skippers
All of our skippers are highly experienced and fully qualified Yacht
Masters. With their background in instruction and training, they
will be able to offer as much or as little input on the day as you
choose.
