Whitewater courses and assessment
Our local river, the Exe, provides us with a great selection of weirs, each with their own unique features. This gives us a whole range of options, allowing us to really focus on every aspect of your paddling.
Within 30 minutes, Dartmoor serves up some of the best paddling in the country.
The lower stretches of the River Dart provide the perfect setting for introductory and intermediate moving water paddling along with a number of other rivers. Between all the venues we've got enough local water to provide you with all your training needs.
4 star - Getting into it!
When you've mastered your boat on flat water it's time to get out
on those rivers and put your skills to the test.
Under our highly qualified and experienced guidance, you'll be
introduced to river paddling in a gentle and stress free way.
Through this B.C.U. course, you'll learn about river features like
standing waves, eddies and stoppers. You'll be able to sharpen skills
such as edge control and rolling and learn new ones like surfing,
ferry gliding and breaking in and out.
This really is a must for any paddler wanting to get going on moving
water or those with some moving water experience looking to gain
more confidence and skill under our professional guidance.
